Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not used OCR(Optical Character Recognition), as this leads to bad quality books with introduced typos. (2) In books where there are images such as portraits, maps, sketches etc We have endeavoured to keep the quality of these images, so they represent accurately the original artefact. Although occasionally there may be certain imperfections with these old texts, we feel they deserve to be made available for future generations to enjoy.

The author has skillfully combined history, nature, and family dynamics to create a strong, believable young protagonist. SWON Libraries, April 2009 "Graveyard of the Sea" is a riveting young adult read, highly recommended. Children's Bookwatch, March 2009 Graveyard of the Sea is a wonderful book. Draper eloquently marries historical fiction with a heroine that you simply cannot help but be engaged by. Because of the skill with which Draper places the historical events effortlessly within the context of the story, I would highly recommend this novel not only for young girls but as a classroom novel study. Graveyard of the Sea would make an excellent addition to a classroom or school library as well as being an unforgettable read. Resource Links, February 2009
  • The Graveyard

    Dorothy Duncan Harris

    Paperback (XLIBRIS, Oct. 31, 2013)
This is a non-fiction story about a young girl's childhood experience. It tells of and experience she had whose lesson lasted a life time. It tells how she convinces her sibling into following her lead, sort of like her partner in crime. The situation she finds herself in sort of revolves itself, although she ultimately finds a way to resolve the situation herself. She yet had to face the wrath of her parents. However the way that is resolved is left yet another lasting impression on the heroine. This story is modeled after a real life experience in the author's life. Although the setting take place in another generation it is still applicable today.
